This is the year that the Axalta purchase of Dura Coat Products is going to be finalized. To that end, we are undergoing many changes and training sessions to learn how to do things the Axalta way. We will also have many more resources at our disposal once we are a part of Axalta. We are prepared for the many changes that are coming our way in the next few months. It will keep things interesting, for sure! By the end of the year, I will be updating this website and my LinkedIn profile from DCP to Axalta.
I am regularly checking the Axalta website for Chemical Engineering positions for my nephew, a very bright and hard-working new college graduate. Perhaps he can land at Axalta as his first position out of college. He has a lot to bring to the table. Huntsville is a great city for engineers, but unfortunately, I have few contacts here since I am new to town.
