I was hoping that this move would not be a bad decision, and it looks like it was the right decision to accept the position at Dura Coat Products and move to Huntsville.  The company is great, the people I work with are friendly and hard-working, and I'm working for a great boss again.  I'm working hard and making a contribution.  I look forward to the challenges and changes that are ahead when DCP becomes Axalta (formally).  On a personal note, I am really enjoying singing with the Huntsville Master Chorale!  Also, my knitting group is an intelligent, engaging, funny, caring group of women.  The mountains are really beautiful and every week I discover something new in this part of the country.  I love the condo I bought and the weather has even calmed down a little now that it's Fall.  I'm getting along great with my dad, who has moved in with me.  I'm traveling and staying in touch with my family and friends in the north.  I love the Midwest, especially Ohio and Wisconsin, and I plan to go back some day (permanently) but this is a good place for me right now.  I don't know how long I will stay here, but I feel confident that this was the right move at this point in my career.

A recent hire at DCP told me the other day, "You have a great head for Sales. You should get out there and sell."  Will I attempt to venture into Sales again some day?  It's tough to tell.  After a few years in this position, I am open to re-evaluate my position and possible career opportunities.  Are there opportunities for me overseas?  I would be open to that.  I look forward to what the future holds.
