I just have to note that when I moved to Huntsville from Ohio, I was sad to leave, but everyone mentioned, "At least the weather will be better."  To which I can now reply, having been in Huntsville a year, "bull$h!t!"  HA HA

In the Spring, Huntsville has copious amounts of rain.  Epic amounts of rain.  Sometimes mild temperatures, but usually chilly days of rain, which are miserable.  And it's windy all the time.  The bugs hatch early and there are frequent threats of tornadoes, as the weather can't decide between warm and cold.

In Summer, it's sauna central.  More bugs, blazing temperatures, and uncomfortable humidity.  It's not fun power-walking the dog in the Summer.  Don't think about waiting until sunset, either, because then you're just a meal for mosquitoes.  And it's hot at sunset, too.

In Fall, there are no comfortable, crisp days like you get in Ohio.  I miss those.

In Winter, it's cold and wet but there is no snow.  And I love snow!  My first Winter in Huntsville, it snowed for about an hour, very lightly, and they panicked and closed everything down.  I understand they have no plows or salt for the roads, but the snow didn't even stick.

I'm not impressed with the weather here and I miss the snow in Ohio.  Also, I miss the people in Ohio.  And I am interested in abandoning all the terrifying bugs and oppressive summer heat they have in Alabama.  The only thing I love about Huntsville is the Master Chorale I am singing with; they are awesome and so much fun to sing with.  Oh, and I have some really nice neighbors.  The job is going well, but it's a job.  I would like to find another one in Columbus, Ohio.
